F.L.Y. University is a transformational 2-day training program that teaches dance & fitness fundamentals, dance principles, building strong movement foundation for effective physiological benefits, learning cultural history and its implications, and being able to apply these learned concepts in a class setting. We are passionate about positively impacting our community- physically, mentally and spiritually.
What is Fly Girl?
Fly Girl incorporates both the world of dance and the world of fitness into a class format. It is heavily rooted in street dance culture and fused with fundamental elements of fitness to create an effective workout. Fly Girl is driven by the music genres of hip hop, dance, pop, house, funk and soul which correlates with specific styles of movement designed to engage every muscle group! Although, music from the 90’s is the foundation of Fly Girl, you should not feel restricted to use music from this time period alone. Music from the 70’s, 80’s, past, present and future are still very much applicable and can be incorporated in your class.
Who is this program for?
This program is designed for movement artists who are serious about their impact on the dance and fitness worlds, respectively. Dancers, instructors, fitness enthusiasts can all extremely benefit from the material and depth of education during the training.

Fly University believes it takes much more than a day to learn a new technique, especially for beginners. That’s why we offer a two-day intensive which will allow interested participants an opportunity to immediately practice learned material.
